This green iteration marks that Daqin Silicone has completely bid farewell to the production mode of traditional high-pollution sealants and entered the high-quality development stage of green, low-carbon, and environmentally friendly manufacturing, further narrowing the product performance gap with international high-end environmental protection sealant brands.
In the past, most conventional building sealants on the market have problems such as high volatile organic compound content, pungent odor, and easy residual harmful substances after curing, which cannot meet the environmental protection requirements of high-end residential decoration, indoor engineering, and green public buildings. In view of industry environmental pain points, Daqin Silicone’s R&D team spent more than one year optimizing raw material formulas and production processes, replacing traditional solvent-based auxiliary materials with green and environmentally friendly bio-based additives, and successfully developed a new generation of low-VOC silicone sealants. Professional testing shows that the VOC content of Daqin’s new environmental protection products is reduced by 92% compared with traditional products, with zero formaldehyde release, no pungent odor during construction and curing, and no secondary pollution to indoor air, fully meeting the environmental protection standards of EU CE and US GREENGUARD.
While achieving green upgrading, Daqin’s environmentally friendly silicone sealants retain all excellent performance of traditional high-quality sealants. The products have strong bonding adaptability, which can be perfectly bonded with glass, aluminum alloy, stone, ceramic, and other building materials, with strong tensile resistance and deformation resistance. They are suitable for indoor home decoration, high-end office building interior sealing, hospital and school green engineering, and other high-environmental-requirement scenarios. At present, the company’s full range of environmentally friendly sealants have been fully put into production and sales, and have replaced traditional high-pollution products in all domestic engineering supporting projects, becoming the preferred sealing material for many green building projects in East China.
